2023-2024 GIRLS CLUB TEAMS

Blue Steel Volleyball's mission is to provide opportunity to all athlete’s who want to better their volleyball ability, technique, faith, and their attitude towards the sport of volleyball.  

 

Since 2005 Blue Steel Volleyball club has been working towards making every athlete who walks into our gym a better person, athlete, and volleyball player.  Our coaching staff is committed to the success of our athletes both on and off the court.  We are blessed with the opportunity to shape, educate and train 500 plus young ladies and gentlemen on a yearly basis. Blue Steel's staff includes some of the most respected coaches in the Metro East with experience at the junior and collegiate levels. You will find several of our coaches in the local junior high, high school, and college programs.

 

Beginners to elite level athletes will find that our training develops personal accountability towards progress and success.  Our players enjoy the privilege of making and being productive participants in elementary/middle school, high school, college and university volleyball programs.

Disciplined and structured practices are designed to get an optimum amount of touches and keep all athletes engaged regardless of age or level of play.  A culture that promotes success through teamwork and strong work ethic has been our signature and our faith based testament.

Why Blue Steel Volleyball?  Because our organization is defined by the success of those athletes that we have been fortunate to have trained in our gyms.

  • This year we will be using a store based website to order uniforms and extra gear. The store will also carry volleyballs that each player can order. Players WILL be required to bring a volleyball to EVERY practice and EVERY tournament. 

  • Fundraising- These details will be discussed at the parent meeting. 

  • $30 try out fee will not be reimbursed if an athlete does not make the team. 

  • There will be NO REFUND if a player drops from the club. 

  • Parent meeting for 10-14u is TBA (October). 15u-18u will have a meet & greet on July 25 from 6:00-7:00pm AND a parent meeting in Oct (date TBA). Players and parents will meet the team and coaches. Payments will be due at that time.

  • First training/practices for most teams will begin in late November. Times and locations vary. 

  • Ref and Score Clinic details will be discussed at the parent meeting. It is MANDATORY for all players and coaches.  Dates:  11U-14U TBA & 15U-18U TBA.

  • Registration and club membership is now being facilitated via SportsEngine.  Parents will sign up with their email and then add their athlete under their household name.  After each tryout has been held and each team is filled, we will send out an invite to roster and you will pay your membership there.
