Since our first senior class graduated in 2021, Blue Steel Boys Volleyball has helped produce 36 college scholarship athletes.
Thirty-six athletes!
36 opportunities to continue playing the game they love at the collegiate level.
And what makes that number even more meaningful is how quickly it has happened. In just a few short years, our program has developed athletes who have gone on to compete at the next level while earning valuable college opportunities along the way. That success is a reflection of the commitment of our athletes, families, coaches, and the entire Blue Steel community. But we're not done.
The 2027 class is already adding to that story. We have additional athletes in that class who are preparing to take the next step and continue their volleyball careers in college. Our goal has always been bigger than winning volleyball games. It's about developing athletes, building confidence, creating opportunities, and preparing young men for what comes next.
The numbers are something we're incredibly proud of—but behind every number is a player who put in the work, a family that supported the journey, and coaches who believed in what was possible.

Hey Athletes and Parents. The college recruiting process can be a complex process to figure out. Below are a few links that will get you familiar with the process.
Helpful tools for our athletes:
There are several college recruiting websites that you can use to create a player profile. Player statistics, interests, grades, and highlight videos can be entered and can potentially be viewed by college coaches. Below is a list of a few recruiting sites. Note that a free profile can be created, but most also have upgrades for a price. We recommend to create a free profile as a starting point.
A big part of getting 'seen' by college recruiters will be to send them highlight videos. To do this, you will need to capture game footage and create a 'highlight' video. This may seem like a daunting task, especially if you have never edited video before. The videos do not need to be Oscar worthy productions. Using a cell phone on a tripod is more than sufficient to capture video. Compiling the gameplay into a smaller highlight reel is the real challenge. Below is a list of hardware options to get you started.
