Playing Background: Stacey was a 4 year varsity starter as an outside hitter at PBL High School. She was awarded as an All Honorable Mention All State Designee. Her club experience included playing for Illini Elite. As a Division I walk on she trained with the Illinois State Redbirds and served as a practice player.
Stacey began coaching during high school, assisting with junior high programs and working camps. As a college student she started her official career at as a student assistant at Normal U-High under the direction of Hall of Fame coach Char Lehnan.
Her teaching and coaching then led her to positions at Tr-Point High School, where she led the school to the first ever back to back super sectional births and conference titles. Her next stop was at Cissna Park High School-CPCI Co-op where she won 5 consecutive Regionals, 3 consecutive Sectionals, and 5 conference titles. She then traveled to the STL region where she began a new chapter of coaching under friend, Charlie Rodham at Belleville West, serving a 1 year interim head coaching position where she led West to a SWC Conference title and a Sectional Final. In recent years, Stacey served as the head coach at Belleville East for 4 seasons, bringing back 3 consecutive seasons of 20+ wins in her tenure.
She also brings club coaching experience with her, serving as the 16s coach for 18 years for the northern Illinois volleyball club, Sports Performance. She has been coaching for Blue Steel VBC for the past 4 years at various levels.
She served as a camp clinician at the University of Illinois 1999-2003.
Her career coaching record is 323-85 over the past 20 years.

Stacey is a mom of 3 daughters and is married to a fellow teacher/coach TJ Posey raising their family in Ofallon. She received her Bachelors Degree of Science from Illinois State University and her Masters Degree in Educational Leadership/Educational Administration from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. She currently teaches at Belleville West High School and is also involved in numerous professional organizations promoting school leadership, civic development, and volunteerism.
